Guidelines
- Organisations must provide evidence of registration or official approval to operate.
- Successful applicants must provide a report on the funded outcomes of their project.
Priority will be given to:
- Projects that align with the values and priorities of the Foundation
- Not-for-profit community based organisations
- The districts of Noorat, Terang, The Sisters, Camperdown and other nearby areas
- Proposals that improve the lives of people experiencing hardship
- Projects which promote inclusion
- Projects that support and make long term improvements in community life and the sustainability of rural communities and the local environment.
Funding
- There will be two funding rounds - the first in May and the second in October - each year
- Online applications must be submitted by 30 April and 30 September respectively to be considered at the following meeting
- The intention is to distribute around $120,000 in funding each year.
- Grants of less than $10,000 will be prioritised, though larger projects will be considered if significant community benefit is demonstrated
